Description

サトシの てもとには たたかる ポケモンが いない!
サトシは めのまえが まっくらに なった!

This picture is based on a glitch I did in the Japanese Pokémon Green game (works in Red too) - where I got a Lv. 2 Charizard with 0HP, so I would always end up outside my house and faint* 2 steps before I reach my in-game mum (who can heal your party of Pokémon), only to end up back outside the house to do the same thing over and over again :XD:
* You "black out" when there are no conscious Pokémon left in your team (don't ask me why; I didn't write the silly game)
It seems that in the world of Pokémon, when a kid turns 10 years old they are left to fend for themself, to the point that your mother will let you pass out in front of her, and chuck you back outside the house. Strange way of parenting, I say.

For this picture, I stuck to 4 basic colours that corresponded with the ones in Pocket Monsters Green, adding only a little shading.

 "Lv 2 Charizard with 0HP" glitch

This glitch worked on the Japanese Red and Green versions of Pocket Monsters. I'm not sure if it'll work on Blue or Yellow, or non-Japanese versions of this game.

:police:I don't recommend you try this bug if you want to play the game seriously, because you'll be stuck with it until you start a new one.

When you get Oak's Parcel from the Viridian City PokéMart (called "Shop" in the Japanese game), go to your items list and use the SELECT button to swap Oak's Parcel with the cancel option, exit that and then go to the Pokémon option. Press any button, and it should mess up the screen, then exit that screen (if you do this during a battle, the HP bar will mess up).
In the next battle, your first Pokémon will become a Lv.2 Charizard, and if you lose any battle, its HP will always be 0. So, you will be returned to the last Pokémon Centre you visited (or your house), and have only a few steps to make before you "black out", only to end up outside that place again (I don't think potions help either).

This has never made sense to me.

You beat some other trainer, they're like "Darn I lost." Then they give you some money and maybe an item.

Yout lose, you black the hell out.

what does your opponent think? 0_0 "Um... Are you okay?"
